HANOVER, N.H., Nov. 6 (UPI) -- An iconic photo of accused presidential assassin Lee Harvey Oswald was not faked as claimed by some, an American academic says.
Computer scientist Hany Farid at Dartmouth College digitally analyzed the picture with modern forensic tools and says it was not altered, the college announced Thursday.
The photo shows the alleged John F. Kennedy assassin in his Dallas back yard holding up both a rifle and Marxist literature. Oswald and others claimed the photo to be faked, citing inconsistent shadows and lighting.

Here is the photo in question. We'll see if we can determine if it's fake. The exercise will be something fun we can all do together.
Right off the bat, I'm guessing it was faked since it all seems so convenient. He's displaying a gun (the means) and he's displaying Marxist literature (the motive.) Place him at the School Book Depository and you've got the opportunity. Classic storyboarding operation. Bing bang boom. Send him away to jail. (But save yourself the trouble of him maybe singing by having organized crime operative Jack Ruby (born Jacob Rubenstein) take him out, saying, "I'm gonna get you, Oswald! Take that! And that! We can't have Kennedy issuing United States Notes, dismantling the Federal Reserve and smashing the CIA into a thousand pieces!"
And don't forget that E. Howard Hunt stated in his recorded deathbed confession to his son, essentially, "Oh by the way, I was in on the Kennedy assassination."
Finer minds than those on the Warren Commission had long ago solved the crime. Only retards believe that Oswald had anything to do with the murder of Kennedy.
