Neo-cons and neo-libs alike claimed that Paul’s nuanced philosophical view on one of the ten titles of the Civil Rights Act, which the media twisted to the point where Paul became a de facto Klan member, had led to the ‘collapse of his political career’.
What the establishment still refuses to grasp is that they no longer wield the same level of influence in tearing down anyone who threatens the status quo. Undoubtedly, many will have bought the scam and meekly withdrawn their support for Paul, but a sizeable hardcore will also have been attracted to him as a result of the smear.
With the system losing all credibility and support for establishment incumbent politicians draining away, the fact that the establishment unloaded both barrels on Paul will only have given him more credibility in the eyes of some.
These "journalists" who can't even breathe a word about their teensy-weensy screwup --about how it wasn't those smelly ol' terriss who put a 7-series compressor on Murray Street after all-- are now going to presume to speak in public, as if they weren't complete whores.
I remember that TV show called Hill Street Blues. There was a recurring character on it, this broken-down heroin addict prostitute. And she'd get arrested now and again and she had her heavy-lidded eyes and she spoke like she had marbles in her mouth. "Heeeyyy baybyyyy. Wanna good tiiime?"
There is absolutely nothing more embarrassing in this world than to watch a person speak who honestly believes himself to be party to a conversation.
If your show is not on the internet, you are not relevant. Is it my fault for pointing that out? I assure you it will be. It will be my fault that you ran your own industry right into the gutter. Everything is everyone else's fault around here.
