I've seen all this before, so here's what you do: lay off the sauce before you go on. It may seem obvious, but you'd be surprised how many guys will just keep drinking right up until their time slot. No one's saying we have to quit, just dial it back.
Nice recovery, though, making it all look like some kind of fainting spell. Good on you. I may use that one someday, with your permission.
