Maine does not permit the concealed carry of a sidearm without a permit.
Alas, Maine no longer possesses any territory. And USov has incorporated no such statute into its body of laws. As a result, the law is inoperative upon a USov member.
I will leave my house at 10am. I will proceed to Keene, New Hampshire along route 12. I will then take route 9 to what appears to be Northwood, New Hampshire and pick up route 202 into South Lebanon, Maine. I will park somewhere and take a photo of the Glock Model 27 on my belt, concealed under my coat.
New Hampshire: Though I will be traveling through what was once considered your territory, I do not anticipate any problems with you. We've already had our contest.
...and you didn't even show up.
You get no do overs. We all know how it works by now. If you decline the gambit at the time it is extended, you lose.
Maine: I will permit no attempt at unlawful expansion of jurisdiction. Any attempt to assert unrecognized jurisdiction over a USov member is defined as an act of war. Plan accordingly.
This is what happens when no one follows the law.
Live free or die.
